I am writing to let you know we are getting ready within the next 30 days to go to the Processor with beef and pork. The beef will be available as always in eighths, quarters, halves, and whole. The price is $4.00 per pound hanging weight which means an eighth is approximately $275.00 for 45 to 50lbs. of beef. It will consist of T-bone, Rib eye, Sirloin, and Round Steak along with Shoulder roasts, Chuck roasts, Sirloin tip roasts, and either Top or Bottom Round roasts. There will be a few short ribs, beef stew, and 10-12lbs of ground beef.
The pork is sold in quarters, halves, or whole for $4.00 per pound hanging weight, which I believe with the size of my pigs that it could be $225.00 and 45 or 50lbs. of pork. However, I am going to offer a special of only $150.00 for a quarter even if the weight would be more. That is a guaranteed price of only $150.00 per quarter or $300 for a half. The cuts will be Ribs, Country Backbone, Pork Chops, Shoulder Roasts, Ham Roasts, Bacon (without nitrites or nitrates), Pork Fat and Sausage (mild or hot).
Would you please let me know as soon as possible if you are interested and mail a $75.00 deposit to reserve your order? Then when I get a date set with the processor, I will let you know so you can put it on your calendar for pickup. Please pass this on to all your friends as I have 5 pigs and 1 or 2 cows to process.
